Scientific name: Desmodontinae

Lifespan: 9 years in the wild and 20 years in captivity

Length: 7-9 cm

Weight: 33 g 

Diet: the blood of other animals

Fun facts: 

They can fly 25 miles per hour. 

There a 3 different species of them.

They occur regions of Mexico, Central America and South America.
