 This week's Rad amphibian is a Blue poison dart frog.

Facts:

Scientific name: Dendrobates tinctorius azureus

Lifespan: 10-15 years

Length: 1-1 3/4 inches

Weight: 8.5 g

Diet: ant, termites, tiny beetles, and other small insects

Fun facts: 

The poison in their skins can cause swelling, nausea and paralysis .

They can be fatal to humans.

They was discovered in 1968
