 Welcome back, to the second term of Milo's Marvellous Blog. Like i said on Proboscis Monkey, there is new fun and i was right because for this whole term, Tuesdays will have underwater creatures fact files, Thursdays will have poems and quizzes and Sunday will have stories, my life and news.

Today is a Thursday so we will be writing a poem about ourselves.

Proboscis monkey

 The reason why i wasn't here for Sunday was because i went to the cinema and i watched Sing 2. My favourite character was Klaus Kickenklober so this weeks awesome animal is a Proboscis monkey.

Facts:

Scientific name: Nasalis Larvatus

Lifespan: 15 to 20 years

Length: 66-76 cm

Height: 0.9 and 1.1 m tall

Diet: Fruit and leaves

Fun facts:

1. They have very big noses.

2. Proboscis monkeys are endangered.

3. They are 166 days pregnant.

Glitter Jar

 Yesterday was my dad's birthday. This weeks amazing art is a Glitter Jar.

Includes:

a jar

a jug of warm water 

60ml glitter glue

3 drops of gel food colouring 

60g- 80g glitter

Step 1: Add warm water to your jar

Step 2: Add the glitter glue 

Step 3: Add around 3 drops of food colour and stir 

Step 4: Pour in the glitter 

Step 5: Top up your jar with the rest of the warm water

Skunk

 The reason why i didn't do a blog on Sunday was because i went to bed early.

This weeks awesome animal is a Skunk.

Facts: 

Scientific name: Mephitidae 

Lifespan: 7 years

Length: 18-32 inches

Height: 17.5 25 cm 

Diet: Grasshoppers, Beetles, Crickets and Bees

Fun facts:

1. Striped Skunks cant swim.

2. Skunks don't like light.

3. Skunks eat fish.

Leaf puppets

 This weeks amazing art is leaf puppets

Step 1. find a leaf.

Step 2. stick it onto a lolly pop stick.

Step 3. add googly eyes.

Saiga Antelope

 This weeks awesome animal is a Saiga Antelope.

Facts:

Scientific name: Saiga Tatarica

Lifespan: 6 to 10 years

Length: 1.2 m

Height: 6 m to 8 m

Diet: Grass, herbs, lichens and low-growing shrubs

Fun facts:

1. Saiga Antelopes have a funny nose.

2. There are 124,000 Saiga Antelopes left in the world.

3. Saiga Antelopes are endangered.
