Height: 1.4- 1.8 m (male)   90- 130 cm (female)

Diet: lychees, mangosteens, mangoes, young leaves, shoots, insects, soil, tree bark, eggs,small vertebrates  and figs

Fun facts: 

The live in the island of Sumatra.

There is approximately 14,000 left.

In 1779, Petrus Camper discovered them.

Christmas Day!

 Merry Christmas! 

This Christmas was Daisy's first one and my Nan came round.

In my stockings i got a harmonica, some toys, gel pens, chocolate and a hedgehog teddy.

I also got a lot of presents including teddy bears slippers, a Chinese lucky cat, a magazine subscription, books, a world record book and moon boots. Daisy got an Iggle Piggle toy. Me and Archie also got an Alexa.

We had a nice Christmas lunch and for desert we had Viennetta and trifle.

Christmas shopping at Corby

 Today me and my family went to Corby to do some Christmas shopping!

First we went to Currys and then we went to the range.

We went to Asda to do some shopping and then we had lunch there.

For lunch me and my brother had an all day breakfast, Daisy had a jacket potato and my mum and dad shared a tuna panini with some crisps.

Then we went to some more shops. Me, my dad and my brother went to get Christmas gifts together and my mum and Daisy went to some shops as well.

Next week we look at Elephant seals and more news, but there will be no lovely languages!

The wizard of OZ

 Today me, my brother and my mum went to the theatre to see the wizard of oz.

First we went to Tesco to get some sweets and then we went.

Then we got to the Curve Theatre in Leicester.

We sat at the back so that we could see the the whole theatre.

The first part was really good and then it was the interval.

Through the interval, Archie and my mum went to the toilet and then we saw our friends at the theatre too.

The second part was also very good and then all the actors bowed.

I loved the Wizard Of OZ!!!
